OCC Thank You Challenge with a Twist!

I have another challenge post! I'm on a roll this weekend! I had sooo much fun making this card! I love making the butterflies with the pearls and Baja Breeze is one of my favorite colors so I ALWAYS enjoy using it!

Our Creative Corner has challenged everyone to a Thank You theme with a twist this week! The twist is to use a blue and cream color palette and add metal and vellum to your creation! Now, I have to tell you I did a little improvising as I ran out of vellum last week and haven't been to the store the get more so... I used tissue paper to cover the butterflies! It looks slightly different but I'm willing to bet if I wouldn't have told ya you would have never noticed!

Without further ado... here is my Thank You card!

Stamps: Butterfly Prints, Afterthoughts
Ink: Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze
Paper: Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Baja Breeze, Manchester DSP, Tissue Paper
Accessories: Butterfly Punch, Square Lattice EF, Bronze Brads, String Pearls,
Victoria Crochet Ribbon, Sticky Tape, Dimensionals

  4. Such a pretty card - love the soft blue you chose. Great idea using tissue paper instead of vellum. You're right, we never would have known - LOL! The texture and lace are great too. Thanks so much for your DT application. You can expect to hear from us during the week of January 17th if you are chosen for the team. Best of luck to you!
